Il est tr&#232;s int&#233;ressant de l'utiliser dans la production de biens. &#192; chaque &#233;tape, nous indiquons les quantit&#233;s utilis&#233;es par unit&#233;s d&#233;finies (par unit&#233; produite, pour 100 pi&#232;ces, par jour ou toutes autres mesures pertinentes selon le cas). Les quantit&#233;s sont la mati&#232;re, l'eau, le gaz, l'&#233;nergie, mais on peut aussi y inclure la maintenance ou d'autres &#233;l&#233;ments pertinents...&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
Les quantit&#233;s peuvent &#234;tre entrantes (on en ajoute), sortantes (elles vont &#224; l'&#233;tape suivante) ou perdues ( chaleur, vapeur...).&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
D'apr&#232;s les lois de conservations des masses et des &#233;nergies, on peut suivre les masses &#224; chaque &#233;tape, ainsi que les &#233;nergies.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
