La sph&#232;re bien que parfaite, n'est pas toujours pratique. Pour choisir, il faut alors allier praticit&#233; et contraintes physiques.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
&#192; d&#233;faut, on retrouve des courbes avec les cylindres des poteaux, les arches des ponts...&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
La forme qui est une des plus utilis&#233;es pour obtenir de la r&#233;sistance est le triangle. On le retrouve dans le carton, dans les jambes de force, dans les charpentes...&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
Si la r&#233;sistance &#224; la charge est une chose, il peut aussi y avoir d'autres contraintes, qui am&#232;nent &#224; d'autres formes.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
P&#233;n&#233;tration dans l'air, casser les r&#233;p&#233;titions pour &#233;viter les r&#233;sonances, portance a&#233;rodynamique,..., sont autant de domaines o&#249; les formes ont leurs importances.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Lors de la conception, des principes m&#233;caniques ou conceptuels (&#233;co-conception), aident &#224; l'efficience de ce qui est con&#231;us.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;On peut aussi aider &#224; l'efficience en minimisant les besoins. Pour l'habitat, cela passe par l'utilisation d'&#233;nergies passives, la limitation des d&#233;perditions (isolation, calorifugeage), la compacit&#233; du b&#226;timent (moins demandeur en &#233;nergie)...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
